My name is Emma Davis, and I am fighting metastatic melanoma — an advanced form of skin cancer that has spread beyond its original site and requires urgent, ongoing treatment.

What began as a diagnosis none of us were prepared for has changed every part of my life. Treatment plans, hospital visits, medications, and the emotional weight of facing cancer have become my daily reality.

Metastatic melanoma is aggressive. It demands specialized care, frequent monitoring, and access to treatments that are often expensive and not always fully covered. Alongside the physical battle, there is the financial strain — medical bills, travel to appointments, daily living costs, and the need to focus entirely on healing rather than worrying about how to pay for the next step.
